James Card

James Card, Shell Rock, age 77, died Thursday morning, July 29, at his home in Shell Rock.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 2, at the Halverson funeral Home at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carrol Usher of the Methodist Church officiating, and burial in Riverside Cemetery. A family prayer service was held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Card is survived by his wife, Ida; three sons, Glenn, Shell Rock, Clarence, New Hartford, William of Hayward, Calif.; one daughter, Mrs. Anno (Jeanette) Hook, Hawkeye; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Rich of Bovey, Minn., and Mrs. Herb Erhorn, Grand Rapids, Minn.; and one brother, Ernest Card, Parkersburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter and one sister. Mr. Card had lived in Shell Rock for the past 14 years and was a retired farmer.
