ANNA WROCKLAGE, 84, LAID TO REST
Mrs. Anna Wrocklage, 84, of Maple Grove Township died Sunday, March 13, 1966, at St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. last Wednesday at St. Michael Church in Maple Grove. Solemn High Mass was given by Rev. Fr. Michael Wolf assisted by Fr. Weisenberger, SVD, and Fr. Eickholt. Fr. Connor, SVD, of Techny, Illinois, delivered the sermon. Mrs. Wrocklage was born Nov. 21, 1881, in Maple Grove Township and lived there all her life. She was the child of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Amman and married Matthew Wrocklage in 1914. He preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Michael's St. Anne Altar Society, Christian Mothers and the League of Catholic Women. Surviving are seven sons, the Rev. Fr. Bernard of Roscomman, Ireland, John of Flint, Gerald of St. Clair, Robert of Chesaning, and George, Carl and Louis, all of Maple Grove; one daughter, Mrs. Rose Perry of Monroe; 26 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Otto and Sulvester and a daughter, Dolores.

HGengler note: According to my cousin Monica Amman Carr, Aunt Anna Wrocklage's funeral Mass was the last funeral Mass in Latin at St. Michael, Maple Grove.
