Funeral Services for Mr. Ivy Houston Sullivan, Sr., 90 of Start, LA will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Woodlawn Baptist Church Rayville with Rev. Roger Johnson officiating, internment to follow in Start Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Rayville.

Mr. Ivy a retired carpenter, cattleman and bus driver passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Monroe, LA. He was a long time member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Rayville, He was also a World War II U. S. Air Force veteran, and was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Alice Sullivan, his parents Garrett and Lillie Leona Sullivan, sisters, Elvie McGee, Gladys Joy Van de Kooy and Francis Kirkley, brothers, James Sullivan, H. G. Sullivan and John Sullivan.

He is survived by his daughter Rita Sullivan Murry and her husband Rich of Dallas TX, two sons, Ivy H. "Chip" Sullivan of Start, LA and Doug Sullivan and his wife Carmen also of Start, LA, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren , three sisters, Mary Taylor of Start, LA, Beatrice Williams and Ann Dungan both of Baton Rouge, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Chad Murry, Heath Murry, Chris Sullivan, Calvin McKenzie, Mark Isaac and Larry McGee.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.

Memorial may be made to Far East Outreach Ministries, INC. 17655 Magnolia Bridge Road, Greenwell Springs, LA 70739.
