DEATH OF MRS. GEORGE R. KINNE
She Was an Estimable Woman and Had a Largle Circle of Friends.
After an illness of several weeks, Mrs. Calisa Preston Kinne, wife of Dr. George R. Kinne, died at the home of the family, No. 438 Gifford street, at an early hour this morning, aged 43 years. Mrs. Kinne was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. King H. C. Preston, former residents of this city, and leaves a wide circle of friends and acquaintances.
Mrs. Kinne was born in Manlius on January 15th, 1854, and soon after her marriage to Doctor Kinne, about fifteen years ago, they removed to this city, where they have since lived. Mrs. Kinne was well known in musical circles, and at one time was a member of the First Methodist church choir.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Kinne leaves a daughter, Georgia Ann, and three brothers and three sisters, including W. M. Preston, C. H. Preston, A. C. Preston, Mrs. Myron J. Wheeler and Mrs. George M. White of Syracuse and Mrs. E. J. Upham of Duluth, Minn.
The funeral will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday at the house, and the services will be conducted by the Rev. J. B. Kenyon, D. D., pastor of the First Methodist church, and the Rev. R. E. Burton of the Delaware Street Baptist Church. Burial will be made at Oakwood Cemetery.
