No headstone has been found for Hannah in the Sewell cemetery but it is very likely to have been her final resting place. I once saw an old cemetery photo which showed headstones marking the gravesites of both she & her husband located near the headstone for Wm Biggs, all near a large tree. The source for the dates are from an old family Bible.
Hannah was born in what was then known as Loudon Co, VA, the oldest of the 3 children of David & Mary E (Tullis) Sewell. The Sewells were usually given as residents of Louden Co, VA but both of Hannah's grandfathers left will filed in Berkeley Co, VA whose parent county was Frederick Co.
Hannah married in 1790 Berkeley Co, VA to Peter Burr. Hannah's parents, her brothers, their wives and family all settled very early in what would eventually become Clinton Co, OH. The migration may have been initiated by Hannah's father, David, who owned 1200 acres of the Archibald Campbell grant, # 2250 in the Virginia Military District which was located just east of current day Clarksville, OH along Todds Fork of the Little Miami river.
Peter & Hannah's 9 children (names & bd from early Bible record):
1- Mary, 1790-1808;
2- Peter Jr, 1792-1814;
3- Hannah, 1794-1861, wife of Sam'l Hardin;
4- Ezra, 1797- died before 1825, m'd 1820 to Cynthiana/Cynthia Pollick, (she 2nd mar'd Stephen Grover);
5- Sarah, 1799-1831, wife of James Marshall;
6- Elizabeth, 1802-1852, wife of Sam'l Anson;
7- David, 1805-1868, husband of Louisa Oxley;
8- Abigail, b 1808, mar'd 1831 to Wm Carson;
9- John, 1811-1832.
