Marian R. Gomoll, age 93, of Wautoma, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012 at Heartland House in Wautoma.

She was born August 26, 1918 in the Town of Deerfield, the daughter of Stephen and Edna (Johannes) Bray. She married Martin G. Wedell on November 7, 1936 in Wautoma. He passed away on Aug. 2, 1958.

She married William K. Gomoll on May 22, 1965 in Wautoma. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2000.

Marian and her late husband farmed the family homestead in the Town of Dakota for many years. She loved gardening and her flowers. Marian was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wautoma where she belonged to the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild. She also sang in the choir.

She is survived by three children, Betty ( the late Donald) Bahn, Wautoma, Elaine (Gordon) Shruck, Wautoma, John (Elaine) Wedell, Wautoma; six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ranee') Bahn, Neenah, Scott (Kay) Bahn, Neenah, Tamara Simons, Wild Rose, John J. (Gracie) Wedell, San Antonio, TX, Christopher (Jessica ) Wedell, Wautoma, Michael (Cicilia) Wedell, Wautoma; her special nephew, Kenneth Gomoll, Plainfield; great-grandchildren, Jared and Logan Bahn, Olivia and Erin Bahn, Joshua (Beth) Simons, Cody (fiancée Megan) Simons, Elisha Ledezma, Brett and Sedona Wedell, Casimero and Kiara Wedell; one sister, Doris Klusmeyer, Wild Rose; two sisters-in-law, Lauraine Bray Wautoma, Margaret Bray, Wautoma. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Donald Bahn; three brothers, Edwin Bray, Donald (Adeline) Bray, and Dever Bray; five sisters, Dorothy (Albert) Bliske, Erma (Ray) Kitchen, Evelyn (Sylvester "Sal") Johannes, Alice (Wilbur) Daye, and Bernice (Edmund) Woyak.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wautoma with Rev. Gregory D. Hyatt officiating. Burial will be at Wautoma Union Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. A Memorial is being established.
