OBIT- Evelyn M Johannes - Nov 9 1922 - April 25, age 75, of Wautoma, passed away Sat morning, April 25, 1998 at the Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov 9, 1922 in Deerfield Twp, the daughter of Stephen R and Edna M Johannes Bray. She married Sylvester Johannes on June 12, 1944 at Marion, WI. Evelyn was employed in the Home Interiors Dpt at the former Walker Lumber Co of Wautoma for 11 years. Later, from 1976 until the present she did custom drapery work from her home. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma. She is survived by her husband, Sylvester Johannes; five sisters, Dorothy Bliske, Omro, Marian (Wm) Gomoll, Erma Kitchen, Alice (Wilbur) Daye, all of Wautoma, Doris I(Klusmeyer, Wild Rose; two brothers, Dever (Margaret) Bray and Donald Bray, both of Wautoma; a sister-in-law, Lauraine Bray, Wautoma; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Gerald Johannes in 1950; her parents, one sister, Bernice Woyak, and one brother, Edwin Bray Funeral services will be held on Tues April 28, 1998 at 11 am in Grace United Methodist Church in Wautoma. The Rev Doris E Hanson will officiate and burial will be in the Wautoma Union Cemetery.
