She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Coan of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Hobart Sandlin of Terre Haute; two sons, Rubin of Terre Haute and M. M. 2/c William C. Thomas, stationed in Hawaii; one sister, Mrs. Joe Thompson, of Danville, Ill.; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Thomas Funeral Home where it will remain until noon Monday. Then it will be taken to Georgetown, Ill., for services there at 2:30 o'clock. Burial in Springhill cemetery at Danville. Rev. James Kelley will officiate. She was a member of the ladies' auxiliary of the Moose." - Terre Haute Tribune, September 17, 1944
