John married 1st to Virgina Emma Reese Garner, on May 31, 1870, in Chilton Co AL, he married 2nd to Susan "Susie" Sanford, on Mar 20, 1892, in Chilton Co AL. He was the son of Stephen Tolbert & Chloe Adams [Norris] Letcher. John had 7 known children with Virginia, it is not known to me, if any children were born to John and Susan.
