Ord farmer, Long in poor health; Dies Friday; Born in Denmark.

Anders Martin Luther Petersen, who died at his home west of Ord, was born August 8, 1872 at Hyllested Soro Denmark. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs Peter Larsen.
With his parents sisters and brothers he came to this country in May 1881. After a short stay in Omaha, the family moved to Valley county and settled in Haskell Creek region north of Ord, and here he attained manhood.
In 1906 he married Mamie Drahous. They lived on the farm north of Ord until a few years ago, when they moved to a smaller place west of Ord.
Anders Petersen was reared in the Lutheran church, and he was a faithful member of the Bethany Lutheran Church of Ord. He is survived by his wife and three sisters, Mrs Marie Aagaard and Mrs Amelia Johnson of Ord and Mrs Andrea Madison of Los Angelas Calif.
Anders health has been poor for years, yet he reached the age of 73 years 9 months and 29 days. He was buried from the Bethany Lutheran Church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock...
