"Hilda Hill Homemaker, 90
Hilda Hill of Eldred, a homemaker and a lifetime area resident, died Thursday, February 8, 2001, at the Seelig Division of Community General Hospital in Harris. She was 90 years of age.
The daughter of the late William and Harriet Clausen Eldridge, she was born December 18, 1910, in Black Lake. She was the widow of William Hill.
Mrs. Hill is survived by two daughters, Hazel Covart of White Lake and Alice Ferber of Callicoon; a son, Ernest Hill of Wurtsboro; two sisters, Iva Foster of Kauneonga Lake and Peggy Tothard of Stroudsburg, Pa.; a brother, William Eldridge of the state of Florida; 18 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Monday at the Gray-Rasmussen Funeral Home in Barryville.
Interment was made in the Montoza Cemetery in Eldred."
