Obit - "George W. Eldridge of Liberty, a retired employee for the Liberty Water Department, Liberty, and a lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995, at Community General Hospital, Harris. He was 89.
The son of the late William and Sadie Holmes Eldridge, he was born Aug. 10, 1906, in Mongaup Valley. He was the widower of Helen Roosa Eldridge.
Survivors include his companion, Gladys Champlin, at home; two sisters, Hilda Hill of Liberty and Iva Foster of Kauneonga Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside servicews will be at 2pm Tuesday at Rural Cemetery, Grahamsville.
Funeral arrangements were made by Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St., Liberty."
