Nevils - Mamie Miller Sikes, 95, died Jan. 12 at Effingham Extended Care in Springfield. She was a native of Bulloch County and a resident of the Nevils area for many years. She owned and operated Sikes Grocery. She was a homemaker and a member of Deloach's Primitive Baptist Church. She was the widow of Coy Sikes.
Survivors: a daughter-in-law, Iris K. Sikes of Springfield; a son-in-law, Lester Timm of Denver; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Joiner-Shepard FUneral Home, burial in Deloach's Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
