Beulah Marie Hancock, age 96, of Sedalia died on April 25, 2010 at her home.

She was born on December 10, 1913 in Tuscumbia, Missouri daughter of Perry Cleveland and Elsie Gladys McDonald Burks. She was married on May 23, 1932 in Linn, Missouri to Thomas J. Hancock and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1995.

She was a homemaker most all of her life. She was a member of the First Assembly Of God Church in Sedalia. She enjoyed growing plants and flowers, quilting, crocheting, and all hand work. She liked making things for people at Christmas time. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters: Bonnie Neitzert and her husband, Paul of Sedalia, Doris Booth of Cape Canaveral, Florida, Wanda Vannoy and her husband, J.B. of Warsaw; two sons: Gerald Hancock and his wife, Judith of Sedalia, Larry Hancock and his wife Sheri of Sedalia; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren.

She was preceded by three brothers: Homer Burks, Ralph Burks, John Roark; one sister: Evelyn Hellebuyck.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday April 28, 2010 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Eddie Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. Wednesday until service time.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Teri Schilb, Sherry Sumner, Cynthia Wasson, Kelly Ingram, Shawna Fisher, Keri Harris.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Michael Hancock, Douglas Hancock, Christine Bottom, Cheryl LaRose.
Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens. Memorials may be given to Bothwell Hospice or Maplewood Church.
