Alta Vista Phagans Nesmith was the eldest daughter of Andrew Jackson Phagans and Mary Lula Melton. She married Oscar Nesmith 29 Aug 1921 in Missouri. Their son Bobby Lee Nesmith and their daughter Dorothy Jean Nesmith Coffee are also buried in City of Lubbock Cemetery.
