Services Set For Mrs. Heye

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the First Presbyterian church for Mrs. Sedonia Elnora Heye, who died in the Nixon nursing home at 8:10 p.m. Monday following an illness of several weeks.
The Rev. Floyd Whatley, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, will officiate at the final rites with burial to take place in the Odd Fellows cemetery under the direction of Finch Funeral Home of Nixon.
The body will remain at the Finch Funetal Home until 9 a.m. Wednesday after which it will be brought to the First Presbyterian church, arriving here at 10 a.m. in time for the 11 a.m. services.
Mrs. Heye was born in Gonzales April 23, 2878, the daughter of Louis B. and Augusta Bunte Burchard, both natives of Germany. She was married to Fritz Heye, who preceded her in death August 24,1960, the couple having made their home in Gonzales for all of their married life. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Gonzales.
Survivors include one son, Charles Heye of Nixon; four grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Two sons, Hoyle and Burchard, preceded him in death a number of years ago.
