Died-At the residence of Mr. G. C. Barber, south of town, on Wednesday night at 12:15, Emil Burchard, son of Mr. L. Burchard, aged 19 years and three days.
For several months Emil had been confined to his bed from inflammatory rheumatism, and was supposed to be getting better and had been taken to Mr. Barber's country home for fresh air and quiet, but Wednesday inflammation set in and in a few hours his spirit took its flight from the earthy body. Emil was a quiet, generous and bright young man, and possessed all those attributes that attracted and held his associates in strong and friendly admiration. He was buried this evening at 5 o'clock in t he Odd Fellows cemetery. The Inquirer extends the bereaved family its hearty and sincere sympathy in their affliction.
