Augusta Bunte married Louis Burchard. She was born in Brunswick, Germany, and came to America about the same time as did the Burchards. Her parents were

FATHER: Johannes Bunte
MOTHER: Johanne Christiana Meyer

They died shortly after reaching Texas. She had four sisters:

1. Johanna married Heinrich Valentin Riemenschneider of Hallettsville, Texas, Memorial 83163839.

2. Mina married Henry Kohlenberg of New Braunfels, perhaps Memorial 75203997.

3. Louise married August Burchard. She died in Gonzales several years after her husband. (August was probably the brother of Louis Burchard.) Memorial 88471388.

4. Mrs. Dorothea Koch, who also died at Gonzales, probably Memorial 81663512.
