She was born Dec. 19, 1924, the daughter of Harm and Edna Proctor Harms. She married George Lane on Sept. 14, 1948 in Rutland. He died March 15, 2005.
Surviving are two sons, Randy (Marno) Lane of Indianapolis and Gary (Gwen) Lane of St. Charles, Mo.; six grandchildren, Andrew (Anne) Lane, Oak Park; Amanda (John) Duselis, Dayton, Ohio; Megan Lane, Denver; Molly and Abby Lane, both of St. Charles, Mo. and Ethan Lane, Boise, Idaho and four great-grandchildren, Griffin and Avery Lane and William and Helena Duselis.
