On the 11th of August Reeves Hall, whose home is near Clark’s Hill, was accidentally shot by a pistol in the hand of a friend, Ora Loveless. He died at his home Wednesday afternoon, death resulting from the injury received a week or so before. In company with several other young men he started some weeks ago for Mammoth Cave, Ky. When the party reached Danville, Indiana, Loveless accidentally discharged a pistol, the bullet striking Hall in the hip. He was sent home and a search made for the leaden pellet. After his death it was found imbedded in the backbone. Mr Hall was about thirty years of age and was an exemplary young man, possessing no bad habits and a number of pronouncedly good traits. Everybody liked him and everyone in the neighborhood will mourn over his sad death. He was in good circumstance financially, was a thrifty, industrious farmer, full of push and go. The funeral took place this morning at 9:30 o’clock from the Christian church, Clark’s Hill, Rev Jackman officiating. Interment in Wildcat cemetery.
