Mrs. Rebecca Clingerman, widow of John Clingerman, died at 6.10 o'clock this morning at the family home, 1017 Lexington Avenue, following a stroke of paralysis sustained on Monday evening.

She was a native of Duncansville and was born June 5, 1842. She was married at Duncansville in May, 1866, her husband dying in Altoona in 1907. Her entire married life was spent in this city. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters as follows: W. H. Clingerman, president of the Frick Coke company at Scottsdale, C. P. Clingerman, superintendent of furnaces for the United States Steel company at Bellaire, Ohio, Mrs. G. L. Coray of Vineland, J. J. , and Mrs. G. R. McFarlane, who resides in the family home. A brother, A. B. Hicks of Duncansville and two sisters, Miss Lizzie Hicks of this city and Mrs. Sarah R. Thomas of Ottowa, Kan. also survive.

The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca Clingerman will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence, 1017 Lexington avenue, Rev. Clayton Brinnell, pastor of the First Baptist church to have charge. Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery.
