Obituary: "Mrs. Herman Reichle, Sumner, Succumbs
Mrs. Herman Reichle, 82, of the Sumner community, died at 6:30 o'clock Sunday at the home of her daughter in Leavenworth. Mrs. Reichle had been in failing health for the past nine years.
Rosa Anna Fleiner was born south of Atchison May 27, 1867. She was a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Baker)Fleiner. She married Herman Reichle on February 23, 1892, also of the Sumner community where they lived. Mrs. Reichle was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, route 1, and Mrs. Minnie Taylor, 505 South Fourteenth, Leavenworth, two sons, Ralph, Cummings, and Louis of the home. Another son, Frank, preceded her in death. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother, George Fleiner of Atchison.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the Sawin & Douglass chapel with the Rev. Vance Baird officiating. Burial will be in the Sumner cemetery."(Src; Atchison Daily Globe, July 17, 1949.)
