Mrs. Anna J. Arnold of Saginaw, widow of F. M. Arnold, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital Wednesday, January 4, 1984. Age 94 years. Anna Begick was born March 11, 1889 in Bay City and was married there to Mr. Arnold in 1911. They moved to Saginaw shortly thereafter. He predeceased her in 1935. She was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and an honorary member of it's Ladies Guild. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Edmund C. and Viola Arnold, Richmond, VA.; another son, Robert Arnold predeceased her in 1938. Three grandchildren, Mrs. Kathleen Loomis, Louisville, KY; Mrs. Bethany Record, Liverpool, NY; Bruce Arnold, New York City; four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Stephen Loomis and Allison and Mark Record; two brothers and four sisters, Adolph Begick and Mrs. Laura Ittner, both of Bay City; George Begick, East Lansing; Mrs. Freda Van Allen, Logansport, Ind; Mrs. Pauline Harding, Pontiac, Mich.; Mrs. Elsie Travis, Bentle, Mich; several nieces and nephews...burial in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery...
