Tues 14 Jun 1921 Bay City Times Pg 3:

The body of Otto E Begick, age 24, who
died in a base hospital in France on Oct
14 1918 arrived in Frankenlust township
last Friday afternoon and was buried from
St Paul's Lutheran church in that township,
Sunday afternoon, with Rev J G Nuechterlein
officiating. A body of American Legion
members acted as a military escort for the
body of the ex-service man, the funeral being
a military one. Begick enlisted at the
outset of the war and succumbed to an
attack of influenza at the base hospital in
France. Surviving the deceased is his
father, August Begick, three brothers, Paul,
Adolph, and George, all of Frankenlust
township, five sisters, Mrs Anna Arnold, of
Saginaw, Mrs William Ittner, Freida, Pauline,
and Elsie, all of Frankenlust township.
Interment was in the Lutheran cemetery in
Frannkenlust township.
