Surviving are his wife, June, of Bartonville; and his sons, Arthur (Connie) Lindsey of Bartonville and Dennis (Jane) Lindsey of Mapleton.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Kay Jarnagan of Texas and Betty (Jim) Messersmith of California.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Arthur served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and then went on to own and operate Lindsey Trucking for over 30 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of the American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville.
Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
