Mr. Lindsey was born January 11, 1911, near Peoria, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Lindsey. A little more than 11 years ago, he married Miss Vernetta McCowan, who with their two children, Glen, 10, and Ronald, 3, survive. He had been employed in the Caterpillar Tractor company stationary motor assembly department for five or six years.

Mr. Lindsey was a brother of Adrian and Clyde Lindsey, Jr., Mrs. Helen Carmody and Miss Betty Lindsey, all of Princeville.

Besides the Princeville brothers and sisters surviving the following other brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Jessie Armstrong; Mrs. Howard Weber; Mrs. A.S. Miller; Walter of Brimfield and Donald of Bartonville.
