CARNEY, Roy J. , of Midwest City, Pastor of Draper Lake Baptist Church for 25 years, was called home by the Lord October 2 1998. He was born December 14, 1934, in Milfay, Oklahoma to Walter B. and Tacie Rowena (Jackson) Carney.
Survived by his wife, June; four sons, Dan, Derrick, Tink and Dewey Carney, one daughter, Deena Price, and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 7, 1998, at the Draper Lake Baptist Church, with burial following in Sunny Lake Cemetery.
