Glenna D. Slaughter was born July 22, 1939 to Walter and Tacie Carney in Disney, Oklahoma. She departed this life December 11, 2017 at the age of 78 years 4 months and 19 days.

Glenna attended Bristow Public Schools spending much of her youth in the area. She set up roots in the Phoenix, Arizona area; it was there that she would raise her family. She returned to Bristow in 2006.

Glenna held many jobs throughout her life, always in management positions. However, the job that brought her pride and joy was being a mom and GRANDMA. She was known by many as "little granny". Glenna loved the Lord and served him faithfully as a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her three children; sons, Kenneth L. and Richard A. Patten both of Bristow; and daughter, Cheri L. Puceloski of Phoenix Arizona; two sisters, Ruth Tidwell and Jean Capps of Bristow; one brother Ronald Carney of Anaheim, California; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and four sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2017 at Oakdale Cemetery in Depew with Reverend John Tidwell officiating.
