Treba Lee "Terry" Carney, 89, of Boise, formerly of Kuna, died Saturday, March 26, 2016 at a local care center. She was born in Oklahoma to Walter and Tacie Carney and was one of 12 children. She moved to Meridian as a new wife and mother and began her career as a homemaker, wife and mother of six children.
Terry lived a life full of loving and giving. Along her path she was a teacher, volunteer in the LDS church, and was a volunteer for the Republican Party. She also acquired her pilot's license and loved to fly and was a long time employee of Morrison Knudson.
Terry also worked as a Sorority House Mom at the University of Nevada Reno and later returned to Boise to be a nanny. Terry was loved by all who came to know her. She was a true lover of life and will be missed by all who knew her, but she will forever live on in all our hearts.
She is preceded in death by her son, Danny.
Terry is survived by her children: Sharon, Jan, David, Tim and Tina; plus many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
