SN Worsham, 66, Succumbs

Steven Nichols Worsham, sixty-six, of Hildebran, died in a Hickory hospital at three AM today following a short illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at Mt Hebron Lutheran church in Burke county at three PM Wednesday with Rev Wilford Lyerly officiating. Burial will be made in the Bethany Baptist church cemetery at Hildebran.

Mrs Worsham died last Januaty 18 and Mr Worsham had been making his home with a daughter, Mrs E M Randall in Hildebran. He was a son of the late Mr and Mrs W O Worsham of Hot Springs, NC.

Also surviving are seven sons, Maynard, US Navy; Columbus, Hildebran; Darris, US Army, Earl, US Marines; Ervin, Morganton; Dennis, US Army; and Vernon, US Army; one sister, Mrs Mae Finley of Charleston, SC; and a brother, Reuben Worsham of Los Angeles, Calif.

The body will remain at the Hickory Funeral HOme until three PM Tuesday, when it will be taken to the home of Mrs Randall.

The burial places of two of his sons are unknown: Maynard A Worsham, d 1964 in Maryland, and Charles Columbus Worsham, d 1987 in Michigan
