MRS BOGER, 79 PASSES AWAY AT HOME SUNDAY

Mrs. Katherine Boger, 79, a resident of Dillon for 60 years, passed away at her home Sunday. Rosary will be recited this evening at 8 o'clock at Brundage Chapel. Requiem mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Rose church. Interment will be made in Mountain View cemetery in the family plot.
Katherine Mary Toomey was born Dec. 26, 1874 in Tipperary, Ireland. She was the daughter of Anastacia Burke and Thomas Toomey.
She came to the United States at the age of 12 years and was met by an aunt and uncle at Sioux St. Marie, Mich.
She later joined her parents at Feeley, Mont., where her father was with the Union Pacific railroad pioneering in this state.
She attended the Sisters' Academy in Deer Lodge.
In 1894 the family settled in Dillon. Here she met Frederick Edward Boger and they were united in marriage Sept. 1, 1900.
To this union were born five children, one who died in infancy.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Holter and a son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Waldron Boger, all of Dillon; a daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Babb of Mapleton,Iowa, and a son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boger of Gooding, Idaho. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and one nephew, Hank Toomey, of Butte.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943.

BOGER RITES HELD TODAY
Requiem Mass was celebrated this morning by Rev. Father Lynam for Mrs. Katherine Boger, 79, at St. Rose church. Interment was made in the family plot at Mountain View cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Muth, Martin Markovich, Martin Gibbons, John Malesich, Howard Rosseneau and William Haves.
