W.G. "Butch" Lamb was born December 11, 1947 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, the son of Willis Garland "Goat" Lamb, Sr. and Wanda Lou Phillips Lamb. He married Linda Kay Taylor Lamb on October 28, 1978 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a 1965 graduate of Sallisaw High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam. He was a United States Postal Employee for 37 years and a member of the Sallisaw Fire Department for over 20 years. Butch passed this life on November 12, 2011 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 63 years, 11 months and 1 day.

Survivors are wife of the home; one son and daughter-in-law; two daughters and sons-in-law; twelve grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister; lifelong best friend; niece and nephew that he cared for as his own; uncle and wife; brother-in-law and wife; sister-in-law; special cousin; dear cousin and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Charles Lloyd Lamb, grandparents, two uncles James and Charles Phillips, dear friend Gus Fullbright, Jr. and nephew Jonathan Keefe Taylor.
