Funeral services were held June 29 at the Houston Funeral Home for David Fred Arndt, who died at 90 on June 27 at Houston Hospital. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L K Foster and interment was in Chickasaw Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Arndt was a native of Clay County. He was a resident of Rt. 2, Houston, and was the son of Francis Arndt and Margaret McGraw. He was a retired cattleman and farmer and was a member of Friendship Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Young Arndt of Houston; a daughter, Mrs. Alice Emanuel of Shreveport, La.; two sons, Frank of Memphis, Tenn. And Arnold of Napa, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
