Mrs. Jinnie Homan Dies at Gibson
Services were conducted from the Friendship Church Thursday, Jan. 2, at 2 pm, for Mrs. Jinnie Arndt Homan, 81, who died at the home of Mrs. W E Millender at Gibson Wednesday, Jan. 1, at 12:30 pm.
The Rev. Page Box and the Rev. Howard Hathorne officiated. Interment was in the Friendship Cemetery with Norman Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Homan was born Dec. 5, 1876. She had lived in Chickasaw county most of her life. She was a member of the Egypt Methodist Church.
She was the wife of the late Pete Homan. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Albert Herndon, Mrs. Millender and Mrs. Lorene Homan, all of Gibson, Miss.; two sons, Jessie Homan of Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Albert Milton Homan of St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. C L House and Mrs. Nannie Holliday, both of Houston; a brother, Fred Arndt of Houston, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
