Mrs. Nancy Holliday Laid to Rest

Services for Mrs. Nancy Amelia Holliday, widow of the late James L Holliday, who died Monday, May 12, at 12:30 am, at Montpelier at the home of her daughter, , were conducted from the Friendship Church Tuesday, May 13, at 2 pm, with the Rev. Robert F Clayman, Presbyterian pastor, officiating.

Interment was in the Friendship Cemetery with Houston Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Holliday was 78. She was born Nov. 8, 1879 in Clay county, the daughter of Francis Casper Arndt and Margaret Elizabeth McGraw Arndt. She was a member of the Friendship church.

She leaves a son, Frank Holliday of West Point; four daughters, Mrs. W Lockhart Childress of Houston, Mrs. E W Moore and Mrs. Floyd Davis, both of Montnpelier, and Mrs. Evans Byars of Houlka; a brother, Fred Arndt of Houston, and a sister, Mrs. C L House of Houston. Twenty-four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive.

She lived in Houston with her daughter, Mrs. Childress, for 16 years.
