She married Lester Cozad on June 26, 1916 in Garfield Township, Montgomery County, Iowa. They lived and farmed all of their lives in Montgomery County, Iowa.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and a 4-H Leader in Garfield Township for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1977.
She is survived by son, William (Bill) Cozad and wife Margaret; daughters, Mildred Marsden and husband Raymond, all of Red Oak, Iowa and Peggy Fast and husband Orville of Elliott, Iowa; and sister, Dortha Lindsey of Red Oak, Iowa. Also 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Red Oak Rescue Unite or the VIP’s for Kids in Villisca, Iowa.
