Rosella Catherine Skinner Hayes, age 69, of Paris, Kentucky, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born January 21, 1942, in Cynthiana, Kentucky, to the late Vivian Flora Skinner Clifford and the late Gilbert V. Skinner, Sr.

Survivors include: her husband of 42 years, Billy Hayes; a son, James McClanahan, of Paris; a sister, Mary Lou Skinner (Frank) Bishop, of Cynthiana; and four brothers, Gilbert (Gracie) Skinner, Jr., of Lexington, Lowell (Mary Sue) Clifford and Jeffrey (Laura) Cifford, both of Cynthiana, and David (Cheryl) Clifford, of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her step-father, Martin Clifford; and two brothers, Thomas (Betty) Clifford and Jerry (Denise) Clifford, both of Cynthiana.

Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, at Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, in Paris. Burial was in the Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Joseph Bishop, David Clifford, Jeffrey Clifford, Lowell Clifford, Jack Plummer and Gilbert Skinner.
