Besides his mother, he is survived by: his wife, Denise Adams Clifford; two sons, Jerry Wayne Clifford, Jr., and Steven Scott Clifford, both of Cynthiana; a stepson, Chad Evans Vance, of Cynthiana; a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Stennett, of Cynthiana; five brothers, Thomas E. Clifford, Lowell J. Clifford and Jeffrey Clifford, all of Cynthiana, Gilbert Skinner, of Lexington, and David Clifford, of Frankfort; two sisters, Mary Lou Bishop, of Cynthiana, and Rosella Hayes, of Paris; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, August 6, at Ware Funeral Home by Reverend Stan Johnson. An Elks memorial service was held Monday. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jeffrey Clifford, Charles Allen Price, David Clifford, Gilbert Skinner, Lowell J. Clifford, Thomas E. Clifford and Jamie Frederick.
