Mary Lou Skinner Bishop, age 73, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Thursday, November 20, 2014, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on January 17, 1941, to the late Gilbert and Vivian Flora Clifford, she was a retired schoolteacher, a member of Cynthiana Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel recipient.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank C. Bishop; a brother, Jerry Clifford; and a sister, Rosella Hayes. She is survived by: two sons, Joseph Daniel Bishop, of Cynthiana, and Jonathan David (Christy) Bishop, of Maple Grove, Minnesota; three brothers, David (Cheryl) Clifford, of Frankfort, Jeffrey (Laura) Clifford, of Harrison County, and Gilbert (Gracie) Skinner, of Lexington; two grandchildren, Wyatt Bishop and Anika Bishop; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, at Ware Funeral Home by Dr. Larry Bishop, with visitation at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Millersburg Cemetery.
