Lillian Bailey Adrian was born near Belvidere, Nebraska on August 6, 1884 and grew to womanhood in the Ruskin, Nebraska community, later moving to Nora, Nebraska where she was united in marriage with Roy Adrian on December 23, 1904 and lived in Nora until 1912 when they moved to Edwing, Nebraska, then moving to Edson, Kansas in 1925. She was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.
She leaves two daughters and three grandchildren to mourn her passing. They are Audrey Post of Goodland, Kansas, and Mrs. Beryl Owens of Edson, Kansas, and Sharon, Sandra and Linda Owens. Also four brothers, R.E. Jones of Loveland, Colo., Archie, Orvie and Elmer Jones of Nora, Nebr., and three sisters, Mrs. Vivian Reade of Bird City, Kan., Mrs. Amy Newhouse, Nelson, Nebr., and Mrs. Effie Graver of Modesto, Calif., and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning, July 27, 1954, in the Methodist Church in Goodland, Kan., the Rev. Walter Dillinger officiating. Burial was in the Goodland cemetery (sic) with the Sage Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Violet Powell and Edna Adrian accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Archie Jones and Elmer Jones to Goodland, Kan., for the services on Tuesday for Mrs. Roy Adrian.
