Mr. Bradford was a former Grant County Highway Superintendent, a Van Buren Township farmer, and a John Deere Implement Dealer. He moved to Melbourne, Fla. 12 years ago. He was a member of the Church of God in Melbourne, the Marion F & AM and the Fort Wayne Scottish Rite. His father, William Penn Bradford, was one of the early settlers of Grant County.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Wilburta) George, Melbourne, and Mrs. Lavon (Vivian) Coolman, Van Buren; three sisters, Mrs. Merle Richardson, Kokomo, Mrs. Minabel Reault, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Nell Hicks, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Diggs Funeral Home, Marion, with the Rev. Phill Stephens officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Marion.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
