Mrs. Nora May Beekman
Funeral services for Mrs. Nora May Beekman, 83, of 1440 Swinney Ave., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Diggs Funeral Home, Marion.
She died at 7 a.m. yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mrs. Beekman was a member of the Methodist Church of Marion, Gold Star Mothers and American War Mothers, and also a member of the S. W. Stirk Circle.
Friends may call at the C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today and all day Sunday. The body will then be removed where friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday until time of service.
Surviving are two sons, Albert and Russell, Fort Wayne; seven sisters; three brothers, Charles, Vern and Wilbur Bradford, all of Marion; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Marion.
The American War Mothers will hold services at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home here.

Mrs. Nora Beekman
Mrs. Nora Beekman, 83, Fort Wayne, widow of Alva Beekman and a former Marion resident, died early today at St. Joseph's Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mr. and Mrs. Beekman left Marion approximately 30 years ago.
Born in this community, Mrs. Beekman was the daughter of William Penn and Alice Bradford, widely-known Grant County residents.
The body will be returned to Marion Sunday and will be taken to 504 W. Third St. where funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
Survivors include two brothers, Charles and Vern Bradford, Marion; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Cocher, Redlands, Calif; one half-brother, Wilbur Bradford, and six half-sisters, Mrs. Rose King, Mrs. Nellie Hicks and Mrs. Minnabelle Holmes, all of Detroit; Mrs. Merle Richardson, Kokomo; Mrs. Belva Lines, Sweetser, and Mrs. Hazel Goodson, Garrett.
