Born in Grant County, she had lived in Morrison for the past two years. She had lived in the Marion area most of her life until moving to Florida after her retirement in the late 1950s. She was the owner and operator of the Ethel Mae Shop, a clothing stroe in South Marion. Mrs. Bradford was also a charter member of the Van Buren Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, now affiliated with the Mississinewa Chapter, and attended the Church of God in Melbourne, Fla.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. LaVon (Vivian) Coolman, Van Buren, and Mrs. Arthur (Wilburta) George, Morrison, Tenn., four grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Raven Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, with the Rev. Phill Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the Marion IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
