Mary Jane Joseph, 62 died June 8th at her home in Sandpoint. She was born June 24, 1914 at Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho and lived her entire life in Sandpoint area except for a short time during the War when she worked in the shipyards in Bremerton, Wash.
After her mother's death in 1935 she cared for her 6 brothers and sisters.
She married Clifford Joseph on June 22, 1934 in Sandpoint and he preceded her in death in 1953.
She is survived by one son John C. Joseph, Sandpoint,Idaho; one daughter Carla J. Joseph, Sparks, Nevada; One granddaughter; 4 brothers Harold Hunt, Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho; Emery Hunt, Spokane, Washington; Stanford Hunt, Sandpoint,Idaho; Gerold Hunt, California; 4 sisters Gertrude Iverson, Colburn, Idaho; Dorothy Forgey, Connell, Washington; Ellen Johnson, Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho; Loretta Hamilton, Corvallis, Montana; 1 aunt Lottie Rosman, Wilbur, Washington; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held from Moon Chapel, Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho on Tuesday, June 14th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Hanson of the Ferst Lutheran Church officiating. Cremation followed.
