Juanita, moved from Meridian, Mississippi to Memphis, Tennessee in 1957 where she did local modeling for some time until meeting Howard Clarke, who she married in 1958. Her last job was with Memphis Light Gas & Water which she loved. She is survived by Sheila Freeze, Teresa Eddy and Yandy Clarke. Her grandchildren are Wesley, Joshua and Mikia Eddy with great-grandsons, Stetson and Greyson. She is missed by all.

JUANITA CLARKE McGRATH, 57, of Memphis, employee of Memphis Light, Gas & Water Division, died of cancer Thursday at her home. Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Brach, Mississippi, with burial in Palestine Cemetery in Coldwater, Mississippi. Mrs. McGrath, the wife of Patrick McGrath, also leaves two daughters, Shelia Freeze of Coldwater and Teresa Eddy of Chandler, Arizona; a son, Howard Yandy Clarke, III, of Nappanee, Indiana; eight sisters, Ann Whitehead, Carolyn Borkin, Patsy Barnhurst, Margie Moak and Mardell Harper, all of Meridian, Peggy Mathis of Las Vegas, Marilyn Hamby of San Jose, California and Claudia Hurt of Jackson, Mississippi; two brothers, Leo Harper and Mack Harper, both of Meridian, and nine grandchildren. ~~~ THE COMMERCIAL APPEAL, Memphis, TN, Oct. 17, 1997, page 10
