Services for Claudia Harper Hurt will be held Thursday at 2pm at Webb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Rawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Hurt, 87, of Flowood, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She worked for AT&T for 38 years and retired in 1987.
She is survived by her son, Jim Hurt and wife, Debbie; son in law, Kevin Moore; granddaughters, Missy Tharp and husband, Rudy, and Kristi Vernon and husband, Zach; great grandchildren, Ellis, Hayes, Anna Ballard, and Mazy Tharp, and Delaney, Grey, and Knox Vernon; sisters, Ann Whitehead, Patsy Barnhurst, Marilyn Hamby, and Carolyn Boykin; brother, Leo Harper and wife, Dena.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hurt; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Moore; and parents, Alonza and Beulah Harper.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home.
