Mary Ellen Rapier, 78, of 107 E. 19th St., Owensboro, died Thursday, February 23, 1984, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. She was born in Daviess County, was a former partner of Alexander & Co. Accounting Firm, was a member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church and Business & Professional Womens Association; attended St. Francis Academy, and Webster Grove College in Missouri; and was a bookkeeper at the Rapier Sugar Feed Mill and Owensboro Municipal Utilities. Survivors include two sisters, Catherine R. Boggess and Grace Rapier Boarman, both of Owensboro, and several nieces and nephews. Haley-McGinnis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
