Bernice Daybell Hartley , age 90, passed away July 14, 2000 at a Bountiful hospital.
Born Aug. 11, 1909 in Charleston, UT to Robert and Martha North Daybell. Married Elton A. Hartley on April 11, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1997. Was an active member of the LDS church, was a dedicated homemaker and skilled at many arts and crafts. Her family was the most important thing in her life.
Survived by children: Verda Mason, Ralph (Delores) Hartley , Nadine Madsen, Lola Barrett; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 14 great great-grandchildren; brother and sister: Theo (Lucy) Daybell, Eva Brickey. Preceded in death by son Don Carlos; granddaughters: Rebecca Barrett, Jaime Conrad; great-grandson Travis McCuig; parents; sister Verda Hartle; brothers: LaVar, Keith, Harold Daybell.
Funeral services Tues., July 18, 2000, 11 a.m., at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. where friends may call Mon. 6 to 8 p.m. and Tues. one hour prior to services. Interment Provo City Cemetery.
