Funeral services for Robert Daybell, 70, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the Pioneer LDS Ward Chapel by Frank W. Stagg, bishop.
Friends may call at Berg Mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
Mr. Daybell, 70, died Wednesday in Provo after a lingering illness. He was born November 15, 1882, in Charleston, Wasatch County, a son of George and Sarah Ann Carlile Daybell. He attended Wasatch Schools.
He and his father and brothers were engaged in farming and raising purebred sheep and cattle. Married Martha North September 13, 1905, in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1925, he moved to Provo and did team and excavation work for contractors. The past two years he has worked for Provo City.
He is survived by his widow, one son and two daughters, Theo Carlile Daybell, Midway; Mrs. Elton A. (Bernice) Hartley, Salt Lake City and Mrs Paul (Eva) Brickey, Provo; 24 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother, Fred Daybell, Salt Lake City.
