Elton Ralph Hartley "Minnow" Our dear brother, father, uncle, grandpa, and fishing buddy died quietly at the VA Hospital May 5, 2006. Born March 15, 1932 to Elton Andrew Hartley and Berniece Daybell. He was a Korean Veteran, serving in the US Army from 1952-1954. Married LaVon Peterson; divorced. Married Delores Alberico; separated. He was employed for decades as a carpenter with Utah Mobile Homes and Ute Liner. He loved fishing, hunting, cooking, gardening, and the Wendover Fun Bus.

Survived by daughters, Charlene McCuaig, DeAnn Arnold, Kaye Hartley ; stepson, Steven Contratto; sisters, Nadine Madsen, Verda Mason, Lola Barrett; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Don Carlos Hartley ; and grandson, Travis McCuaig.

A memorial celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 13th at 12:00 noon at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street. Friends and family may share memories together from 11:00-11:45 a.m.

His daughters would like to express their gratitude to all of the staff on the S.I.C.U. at the Veteran's Hospital, with a special thank you to Sabrena, Duffy, Craig, and Jim for those final moments shared with Dad. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.jenkins-soffe.com
